Tuscany Woven Matelasse Bedspread

Tuscany woven matelasse bedspread is now available at the Bates Mill Store in all bedspread sizes and many colors. 

Maine Heritage Weavers, of Lewiston, Maine, USA, is a company steeped in the traditions of America's past, yet we are open to designs that reflect the spirit and motifs of other nations, as our Tuscany bedspread represents.

We are proud to announce "Tuscany" as the newest addition to our woven matelasse collection. Although taken from the archives of America's "attic," the Smithsonian Institution, Tuscany's grape and vine pattern and floral motif evoke images of the Tuscany region of Italy. The puffed matelasse (also called "[tag]trapunto[/tag]") technique defines the design, giving it a dimensional look and feel that is elegant and rich. The bedspread and matching shams are 100% cotton and machine washable.

Sizes include: twin 80"x110", full 96"x110", queen 102"x110" and king 116"x120".  Shams and throws are also woven in this design.  This [tag]matelasse bedspread[/tag] is machine washable and will not shrink more than 3 percent.  Fade resistant dyes and the finest cotton available make this bedspread a treasured Heirloom that will last for years.
